About ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Seth Brackman from Kansas
Seth Brackman is a graduate of Missouri Western State College and Washburn University
School of Law. Seth has focused almost the entirety of his career on criminal law, to include
traffic such as DUI, and has built a reputation for being a top trial attorney. His jury trial
experience covers everything from DUI to Jessica’s Law to murder. Seth fiercely defends his
clients with empathy and action. He believes in working closely with his clients and treating
each individual as a person first and foremost. To that end, Seth is constantly working to
further his training and education so he can best represent his clients.
Seth is certified by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the
Administration and Interpretation of the Standardized Field Sobriety Test Battery which is the
same training law enforcement officers receive. This allows him to find all the inconsistencies
in the officers’ practices. Understanding that the law enforcement training is only part of the
equation, Seth attended AXION Labs to learn the science behind the testing itself. He earned
Certificates of Completion in Forensic Chromatography: Theory & Practice (2023), Forensic
Analysis of Solid Drug (2023), and The Science of DUID (2023). After passing a rigorous
examination, Seth earned the designation of Forensic Lawyer Scientist by the American
Chemical Society’s ACS CHAL section (2023).
Seth is a member of the American Chemical Society’s CHAL, DUI Defense Lawyers Association,
Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Kansas Bar Association. He is proud to
assist Addair Law as being recognized as one of the Top 10 Attorneys in Kansas; however, he is
equally proud to be a devoted husband to his wife JaQuita, and father to his son Emilio, and
daughters Delena and Victoria.
