About ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Reilly Garrett from Texas
Reilly Garrett works as an Associate Attorney at Shane Phelps Law, in Bryan/College Station,
Texas. Upon leaving the Army in 2010, Reilly became a Police Officer and served the College
Station community for over seven years. During this time Reilly distinguished himself as a
Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Intoxilyzer Operator, Detective, Special Investigator, and
member of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team.
With a goal of continuing service to his community, Reilly graduated from Texas A&M
University School of Law, one of the fastest rising law schools in the country and was licensed to
practice law in Texas in October of 2021.
With an exceptional history of service to both country and community, Reilly’s military and law
enforcement experience set him apart from other criminal defense attorneys. Approaching each
case with an eye for detail – particularly when it comes to cases involving DWI, Search and
