About ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Lisa Gonzalez Salceda from Texas
Lisa Gonzalez is a criminal defense attorney who practices in Fort Bend County, Texas. Lisa’s practice focuses on forensic defenses relating to alcohol (DWI) and drug charges (possession, distribution, driving under the influence of drugs) as well as sexual assault cases and computer crimes.
In 2018 Lisa earned the American Chemical Society (ACS) Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Designation as recognized by the Chemistry and the Law Division of the ACS, which is the highest form of scientific recognition available for lawyers. Lisa has earned certificates in Forensic Chromatography, Forensic Analysis of Solid Drugs, and Forensic Principles of DUID, issued by Axion Labs in Chicago, Illinois and the American Chemical Society.
Lisa is a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming, a premier training institute where the best attorneys from across the nation gather to train and carry out the mission to protect “the poor, the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the damned”.
Lisa is an annual speaker for the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, where she is also a board member. She is the current president of the Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Attorney Association. She is a member of the State Bar College of Texas, and Harris County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, DWI Defense Lawyers Association, and the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
