Jay Cohen is a criminal defense attorney focusing on DWI and drug charges and is the founder of Blass Law PLLC based in Houston, Texas. After graduating from South Texas College of Law in May of 2009, Jay has successfully defended clients charged with all types of criminal offenses in both state and federal court. Jay consistently gets acquittals, dismissal and other excellent results for his clients by knowing more than the state’s experts, investigating every witness, and staying current on the law. Jay is committed to staying one step ahead of the prosecutors. Trained as both an instructor and practitioner in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, and trained as a Drug Recognition Expert, he can scrutinize every step in law enforcement’s analysis of evidence. Jay has completed training in Forensic Chromatography: Theory & Practice, Forensic Analysis of Solid Drugs, and Forensic Principles of DUID by Axion Labs and the American Chemical Society.
